Since the Reclamation of Gilneas, Gilneans, friends and allies, have gathered their strengths, resources
and finances in order to salvage, rebuild and build new homes in what is now home once more.A handful of Lords, Ladies and Lairds have, in particularly, invested in the West side of Gilneas,
which consists of the areas ranging from The Headlands, to Keel Harbour,
and to the surrounding areas leading up to the Greymane Manor. With old homes rebuilt and brand new neighbourhoods raised, the locals call
for families to return home, and for new residents to settle in,
repopulating the West side once more.

Our Vision
ALTERNATIVE LOCATION
We're using West of Gilneas (in-game, Founder's Point) as a neighbourhood-immersive alternative to RP in, aside from the Gilneas zone itself.WORGEN PREFERENCE, BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT
We do have a preference for Worgen residents, seeing as the Neighbourhood will be managed by a Worgen-exclusive guild, but this is not a requirement for residency nor to engage with us.VIEWED AS A PUBLIC SPACE
In terms of WoW's game mechanics, both Guild and Charter type Neighbourhoods are considered Private Neighbourhoods, and will require an invite by a resident in order to visit. However, we consider our Neighbourhoood to be a public space that anyone can visit, even for spontaneous walk-up RP.We aim for a neighbourhood where all residents (and visitors) are able to create new, contribute and build upon stories we'll make together, as a community.
Our Community
Our community is a diverse mix of beginner, intermediate and veteran roleplayers, all with the common goal of contributing to a positive and safe OOC environment, where we can express and share our creativity with one another IC.
Rules & Guidelines
LORE ABIDING
Keep your character(s) and RP lore-abiding, further ensuring that it's aligned with the type of RP we're catering to.18+
Due to the themes which we may explore, we recommend that you're at least 18+ and open to potentially dark and mature themes. That being said, this isn't a focus of the community as a whole, but something that might occur, as Gilnean and/or Worgen characters tend to have quite some baggage as an expansion of the WoW-lore.KEEP IC & OOC SEPARATE
We're all for difficult characters, but don't let IC happenings bleed into our OOC environment and vice versa.BE CIVIL
The core of our rules and guidelines have been listed above, but there exists more extensive information about them in our Discord server.

While the map of Founder's Point and the map of West of Gilneas doesn't "perfectly" align, we've made an attempt to recreate and rearrange Founder's Point to that of the west side of the Gilneas Kingdom.

Comparison to the Actual Gilneas Map

Portal Between Gilneas and Stormwind
At this point in time, there's no portal between Gilneas and Stormwind in the game. However, through our RP, we consider using portals as an expensive luxury, and one that may be difficult to obtain (and maintain) between Gilneas and Stormwind in particular. With that in mind, we consider that the portal service between the two areas to be of a limited availability, and that we mostly rely on travel by boat, horse or foot. We'll be using the Tess' Peacebloom toy item (only usable by Worgen), and the ability to teleport to your plot for a seamless transition from the 'Neighbourhood Gilneas' to the actual zone of Gilneas. The actual use of these two features are OOC and isn't referenced in the RP.

Converting Founder's Point to The West Side of Gilneas
The Headlands
Represented by Mear's Farm, Town Centre, Stoneveil Ridge & Small Aerie combinedIn the Gilneas zone, The Headlands is a big, vast area of ruins. For the Founder's Point map to make sense, we consider The Headlands to make out the largest portion of the map, combining the green farm areas. It is also fitting to have a new village (the Town Center, with the Bulletin Board and the General Contractor on the map) to appear there, due to the area's size.
The Headlands' Amphitheatre

Located by the Town CentreWith the rebuilding of The Headlands, an amphitheatre has been built with not only the purpose of entertainment, but to also serve as a place to gather for Neighbourhood matters.
Keel Harbour
Represented by The Outer BanksWith the mixture of both player-house buildings and (unusable) flavour buildings, along with a big dock that connects to the port and a sprinkle of NPC vendors, this area has been selected to serve as Keel Harbour.
Keel Harbour Dock

Located in The Outer BanksThis is considered the main and largest dock on the west side of Gilneas, serving as the official point of arrival for large vessels engaged in business or transport.
Aderic's Repose
Represented by Brumewood HollowWhile there's very few buildings around Aderic's Repose in the zone of Gilneas, they do exist. Additionally, with being the only location with a graveyard on Founder's Point, this area has been selected to stand in for Aderic's Repose. With the IC history of having Druids, Harvest Witches, and other users of Nature Magic, trying to make the soil more cooperative with yielding crops, it might appear as if the Blackwald forest is trying to reach into Aderic's Repose as well, as an effect of this.
Tal'doren

Located in Brumewood HollowBeing blessed with a Moonwell in the Neighbourhood, we consider this as an alternative version of Tal'doren in Blackwald, Gilneas. We use this location to host smaller groups, or a private Ritual of Balance for our Worgen residents, friends or travelers.
The Surrounding Areas of Greymane Manor
Represented by Gilded OaksThe path and the immediate areas leading up to the Greymane Manor in the zone of Gilneas, is a cliffside bordering both the sea and more mountains, making the Gilded Oaks a reasonable stand-in for this area. The Greymane Manor itself is not considered to be a part of the Neighbourhood.
Merrymere

Located in Gilded OaksMerrymere is where we gather, at least once a month, for social evenings and entertainment. As it's a public spot outdoors, everyone is welcome to approach us should you see us there.

Business & Services
Below you'll find both plots and individuals who offers business or services. Most of these plots are open to visitors, whether it's through pre-planned RP or spontaneous drop-ins.
The Company House
Named The Company House, the property serves as a residence, guild house and as the headquarters of The Travelling Rose Company, also known as the Rosebound Wanderers
The Whipple Inn (and out!)
An inviting establishment which aims to cater to the social appetites of the community. Sporting a well-stocked bar, two stages, a large communal area and a smaller 'ball' room, as well as a kitchen and an exclusive hot-tub area! And, should the weather be nice, and outdoor bar and accompanying seating area!Expect music, revelry, fun, and "reasonable" prices!
The Flying Fish Medical Chapel
The Flying Fish Medical Chapel! As eccentrically whimsical as this unorthodox chapel sounds, its entirely suited to it's owner. Yenithiera Stillbrieze, a priestess of the light by trade but comes from a long line of fishing family. Thus her quaint little abode represents this, showing all three themes. A fishing shack and tree assisted lighthouse, a medical infirmary and chapel. So she leaves her doors always open for anyone who may be in need, be that a medical emergency, some solace and prayer or just a good cup of tea and some cake!
Little Undermine
A little home converted into a Goblin workshop, Little Undermine's neon lights are now visible from many places in the district.Home to a Goblin engineer sponsored by the Venture Company, the workshop sells large amounts of construction materials for new residents... And technological innovations for warriors.Feel free to drop by in order to take a look at the extensive catalogue of products and services!
Bloodfang Hollow
The Lurkersβ current base of operations is a semi-permanent woodland compound, styled after Gilnean architecture and sensibilities, and deliberately positioned away from major roads. Neither fortress nor campsite, the plot functions as a practical headquarters: a place to receive contracts, rest between runs, store supplies, and coordinate movements across the region. Its layout reflects this dual purpose: open enough to welcome visitors, yet structured to support security and oversight. At its heart stands the main house, serving as leadership quarters and meeting space, supported by adjacent tents, carts, and utility structures used for storage, preparation, and transient stays. A central clearing provides a natural gathering point, while the surrounding trees and terrain offer cover and discretion. Though not openly advertised, the location is known among certain circles as a reliable stop for those seeking skilled couriers, quiet conversations, or work that requires capable hands and fewer questions. For visitors, indoor access is typically limited to the bar and common room of the main house, where work is discussed, messages exchanged, and guests received. Other areas of the compound are reserved for Lurkers and active operations. You're most likely to run into one of the Lurkers on Fridays and Saturdays, but you're welcome to leave a letter stating your request for an appointment.
The Gravekeeper Grove
Bleakbook & Blodraven Cairncoven Grimcorps Business
The Gravekeeper Grove is operated by The Gilneas Cairncoven Grimcorps, who provides services to the general public and accepts all kinds of queries. The services provided are divided into Cairncoven Services and Grimcorps Services. An overlapping goal that both services have is mapping the darkest corners of Azeroth and beyond, identifying and tackling threats before they can grow to put Gilneas and the Alliance at risk. Leading research on necromancy and the dark arts. Keeping the dead in their graves. If you happen to see the Gravekeeper, please approach if you have any inquiries or generally seek Cairn-keeping and wicker-warding services. Or perhaps even a lucky charm.
The Wandering Brush

The Rosebud Library
The Rosebud Library stands tall and dignified close to the heart of the Gilnean western reaches. A quiet landmark built upon foundations of old to preserve literature - both fiction as well as history. Poetry embroidered and woven within each of the chronicles.Lovingly managed and carefully renovated the library's purpose is more than upkeep - each beam restored and polished serving as a promise that literature will endure.Yet for all its warmth the library is built upon old bones. Secrets carefully threaded in the dark depths for those bold enough to listen. Its sweeping archetecture is vast and echoing spaces to draw the eye of a local magi of devoted bibliophiles alike. And members of its eclusive club will find that not only magic is found within ink and parchment. Now and then discussions accompanied with the luxury of afternoon tea.
Merchants, Traders & Service Providers
Sam with The Hunter's Path
Seek out Sam for tanned pelts, leather, furs, and handmade charms and necklaces crafted from animal materials. She also offers camping equipment and other essentials for travellers and those bound for extended stays in the great outdoors.
The Neighbourhood Watch
The Neighbourhood Watch is a group of civic volunteers formed by local residents. The aim is to provide both physical and emotional safety and comfort within the Neighbourhood, by nurturing and offering a neighbourly connection amongst residents. While the group may include former soldiers and guards, Watch members patrol the area not only to offer a visible sense of reassurance, but also to provide assistance or mediation when needed. The Watch does not exist to punish, but to prevent; to notice trouble before it escalates, to listen when concerns are raised, and to guide matters toward peaceful resolutions whenever possible. The Neighbourhood Watch also hosts regular moots and meetings. These are open gatherings where residents can share news, voice concerns, seek advice, or simply stay in touch and reconnect with our fellow neighbours.Anyone may approach a Watch member, and everyone is welcome to attend the Watch gatherings. A community that looks after its own is a community worth defending!
OOC:
The Neighbourhood Watch is a civilian RP organisation focused on community interaction, mediation and low-stakes conflict RP. Members do not replace IC-authorised (NPC/Gilnean) guards, enforce laws or initiate violent actions, but may involve authorities (IC) when appropriate.Basically, The Neighbourhood Watch is not an authorised group of soldiers that act directly under the royal Gilnean guard, or anything similar of the sorts. It's intended to just be a local, but friendly, neighbourhood group who's helping out in the community as a whole. The Neighbourhood Watch does exist as actual NPCs walking around the Neighbourhood, meaning that if you cannot find a player, you're more than welcome to approach an NPC and post an IC submission to the Watch in the Discord.

Walk-Up RP
As stated in our About-section, we do view our Neighbourhood as a public space, meaning that walk-up RP is highly encouraged and desired. We welcome visitors, regardless if you've interacted with our community before or not, to come visit when the opportunity presents itself. We also welcome events and/or campaigns to blossom from walk-up RP, seeing as anyone is allowed to visit the Neighbourhood to check out or conduct business, or perhaps even do a bit of mischief. We simply wish to encourage everyone to expand on our existing stories, introduce us to new ones, and to host your own events. We're all here to create RP together.
Pre-Planned Events
Since everyone (residents and visitors alike) are welcome (and encouraged) to host events on their own initiative, there may be regular/monthly events happening in our Neighbourhood. As of right now, since we're still in our early stages of establishing our community, we've yet to fall into a rhythm of how frequently events may occur.Regardless of frequency, we can, however, guarantee that pre-planned events has, and will continue to occur.
Worgen-Exclusive Events
As also mentioned in our About-section, the Neighbourhood is initially hosted by a Worgen-exclusive guild. This means that there will be offered events that are exclusive for all Worgen, seeing as the events will cater to utilising the Worgen form. There events will be open for everyone who's afflicted, regardless if they're a part of the guild, a resident, or simply just a visitor.
Discord Server & In-Game Communtiy
In order to keep yourself up to date on our upcoming events, or to just simply be a little more available OOC, we strongly recommend you to join both our Discord community and our in-game Community. While the Discord community offers spaces of both OOC and IC interaction and communication, the in-game Community acts as a pure OOC-chat where one can better organise RP, should it be desired.

The Plot Locations and Their Numbers

Charter Type Neighbourhood Not Yet Released
The neighbourhood is open to guilds, guilded and non-guilded residents alike. While we're well aware that Charter Neighbourhoods have yet to be available in-game, you're still very much welcome to apply! We are currently using the Guild Neighbourhood as a temporary solution. This means that in order to gain access to the Guild Neighbourhood, you'll have to place an alt in our guild. Once you're in the guild, all you need to do is to purchase a plot on that alt, and then you'll be able to teleport to your home, regardless of what character you're on (at least, if you only have a home in Founder's Point).
Guild Neighbourhood NOT Getting Disbanded
While the guild itself will migrate over to the Charter Neighbourhood type once it's available, keep in mind that the guild will not be disbanded afterwards.
Discord Server & In-Game Communtiy
While our guild's Discord was always open to everyone who engaged in RP with us, regardless of membership, we've officially converted the Discord into that of The Rosebound West community. Outside of guild members, we welcome residents and visitors of the Neighbourhood, and any potential business partners to join us here!
We've also made an in-game Community to better stay in touch and organise RP directly in the chat in-game. As this is the in-game Community version of our Discord Community, this is also open to everyone involved with our community as a whole, whether you're a resident, visitor, business partner, guild member, or simply someone who enjoys tagging along for our events.
Claimed Plots
As of right now, we're still but a humble handful of residents, so for any newcomers, know that there's still plenty to choose from! The following list shows all the claimed plots. Public Plot Requests
As of right now, there's still a handful of public plot types that are desired within the Neighbourhood. The list below will be updated as the public plot type request has either been fulfilled, or if new requests occur:
β’ Guardhouse / Watchhouse / Holding House (with a holding cell for short-term stay) for The Neighbourhood Watch
β’ Military base and/or training grounds (could be combined with the Guardhouse)
β’ Shop / General Goods Store
β’ Greenhouse
β’ Stables
β’ CafΓ©
Please know that despite the public plot request above, we welcome other public plot types for those who wish to establish a service or business within our Neighbourhood. And of course, you are more than welcome to simply have a private home for your residential character; it is not a requirement to have a public plot for public use.
Applying for Residency
Please use the application form below when applying for residency with us. When you've submitted the application, please contact Ruby Rye (Rrye in-game) to notify that you've sent in your application, so that we can reserve your plot and invite you to the guild as soon as possible. We're all hoping to hear from you, and very excited to meet our new neighbour! β€οΈ
